Our trip to Pantai Kerachut was an awesome one. Everything went on smoothly and it was fun. It all began on the morning of the 8th of February. I woke up at 6am. and got ready. Uncle Christopher Lau with Eric picked me , Emmanuel and Jonathan at 7 in the morning. Off we went to penang. We went to a hawker stalls for breakfast
We parked the car on the other side of the road.So we had to cross a very busy road to get to the hawker stalls. However, me emmanuel and uncle managed to cross the road quickly leaving behind eric and jonathan. It took them about 5-10 minutes to cross the road!

All set to go |
Once registered, we had two options to get to the beach, one was going by boat or hiking. We chose to hike there as it the boat ride was expensive. It took about an hour and half of hiking to reach the beach.

Hiking was actually fun. We got a little closer to nature, breathing the fresh air, listening to the sounds of the jungle. But it was quite tiring as we were carrying our bags and tents, and the climbing can be tiring. But the view can be beautiful at times.

We had to take breaks in between to recharge our energy to continue the hike |
We eventually reached the beach after about an hour and a half. The tiring hike was all worth it in the end as the view was beautiful! The sand was white and soft and the water was so clean. The only dissapointment was the meromectic lake. It was all almost dried up.

Once we were there, we went to the campsite and started unpacking our things and putting up the tents. We put up to tents, one for uncle and eric n the other for me, jon and emmanuel.
